TINY TOT classes at North Avoca Surf Club Aims to capture and nurture young children’s instinctive joy of movement and freedom of expression. Children will develop the dance skills through imaginative play and dance activities that will inspire creativity and discovering love of dance through movement. In 2011 we introduced morning Tiny Tot Jazz Ballet classes held at the beautiful location of North Avoca Surf Club. The students have a large are to dance and a panoramic ocean view. Parents are delighted to sit in the glass waiting room with a coffee while other siblings have their own area to amuse themselves. No matter the weather, it really is a picture perfect spot. Miss Kate has taught our young ones for many years. She is filled with the knowledge of dance and also that of a mum. She concentrates the foundations of Ballet and basic Jazz elements suitable for 2-5 year olds. HIP HOP Originally created on the streets of New York, Hip Hop dance refers to dance styles primarily danced to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. Hip Hop is a very exciting form of dance developing individual style and technique. No two classes will ever be the same. Hip Hop is very popular on TV and with today’s music artists. These classes are welcome to both boys and girls. Just wear something comfy and go for it!!! Enjoy……… Katie Dowzard
